One Pan Lemon Garlic Parmesan Chicken

One Pan Lemon Garlic Parmesan Chicken

This easy and flavorful dish combines tender chicken with zesty lemon, savory garlic, and rich Parmesan cheese, all cooked in one pan for minimal cleanup. Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients:

  • Chicken Breasts - 4 boneless, skinless
  • Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Lemon - 1, juiced and zested
  • Parmesan Cheese - 1/2 cup, grated
  • Chicken Broth - 1/2 cup
  • Italian Seasoning - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt and Pepper - to taste
  • Fresh Parsley - for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Prepare the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  3. Sear the Chicken: In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  4. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest, stirring to combine. Bring the mixture to a simmer.

  5. Add the Parmesan: Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.

  6. Return the Chicken: Place the seared chicken breasts back into the skillet, spooning some of the sauce over the top.

  7. Bake: Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

  8. Garnish and Serve: Remove the skillet from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve the chicken with the lemon garlic Parmesan sauce spooned over the top.

This dish pairs well with roasted vegetables, pasta, or a simple green salad. Enjoy the rich flavors of this one-pan meal with minimal effort!
