Surprise! Living Room Before + After With West Elm · steffy's pros + cons

As you may or may not know, I am working together with West Elm on a sister series, sharing a room reveal per month as we slowly renovate our new home. You can read about each room, and the process behind the design of each space over on their blog, but in case you missed their post I wanted to add the images on my own blog as well! If you remember correctly, we used to have an orange couch in our old home. When we moved, we felt that our old furniture just didn’t fit correctly in our new living room space. The old couch was from when we lived in an apartment, and now that we’re in a house it felt like it was too short for the wall it would be placed against. We also had been collecting pieces home by home, and never really sat down and planned out a cohesive living room space – We had a mid-century couch, an industrial table, and we moved with no rug, so we felt we had some work to put in!
